Paradise Memorial Park Litigation
Hundreds of decedents' remains were improperly handled by cemetery owners and their staff. Numerous settlements, with total value to class members in excess of $8,300,000.00, were obtained. A trust for the future maintenance and operation of the cemetery was also established as a result of this litigation. The settlement also provided injunctive relief to the Plaintiffs.
